What is the Fremont Multidistrict Initiative (FMI)?

The Fremont Multidistrict Initiative (FMI) is a collaboration between Canon City, Florence, Cotopaxi and Pueblo Community College. This program designed to give students  opportunities to access college level courses that are not offered at their home school. Students may attend courses on site at Canon City High School or Florence Jr Sr High School.

What are the benefits of the FMI?

Students will gain college credit and/or certifications that will give them a head start on their future career path. CCHS, FJSHS and Cotopaxi schools have partnered with Pueblo Community College to make undergraduate level courses available for high school students.

What are the different pathways offered?

How can students sign up? 

See your counselor or complete the Google Form. Counselors will be able to connect with other schools to ensure you are enrolled.
