As summer break winds to a close, the beginning of the school year is fast approaching! We can't wait to welcome back our Pirates, and welcome aboard any new Pirates! To prepare for the incoming year, please review the following information:
School Supply Lists
August 3rd - Registration Day :
Registration packets are available on the Enrollment page. Those who are able are encouraged to fill out paperwork beforehand and return to the front office at their convenience. Printed registration packets will also be available to fill out on site on registration day.

Lockers
All lockers for the 2023-24 School year will be randomly assigned by grade level. Starting July 31st locker information will be available to view on goedustar.

Athletics
First day of high school fall sports practice - August 7
Please note, all student athletes must have a current physical on file before they will be allowed to practice. On Monday, August 7th, from 6-8 p.m., Salida Middle School will be hosting an opportunity for our student-athletes to obtain a pre-participation physical for any Junior High and High School student. The cost is $10 per physical and the money collected will be donated to the Cotopaxi & Salida School Districts / athletic programs.
August 7 - Parent Orientation for Grades K, 6, 9 & 12 - 6:00 PM.
August 7 - Back to School Night - 7: 00 PM
The Cotopaxi PTC presents the annual Back to School Night. Meet and greet with your children's teachers, and meet and mingle with administration, staff and school Board Members. A taco dinner and ice cream dessert will be served.
No admission required, but donations are accepted.
