As we approach our upcoming state testing period, we want to take a moment to share important information and emphasize how you can help your student succeed.
Testing Dates and Times:
State testing will take place April 6th through April 16th, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM each day. During this window, students will participate in CMAS and PSAT/SAT assessments.
State assessments play a key role in measuring student progress, guiding instruction, and helping our school understand how well we are meeting academic standards. While these tests are just one measure of learning, they provide valuable insights that support improvements in teaching and learning for all students.
To help your student do their best, attendance and punctuality are essential. Please ensure your child:
Arrives at school on time (before 8:00 AM)
Is well-rested
Attends school on all scheduled testing days
Testing sessions begin promptly, and late arrivals may not be able to enter once testing has started, which can disrupt their experience.
We also want families to be aware that there is an option to opt out of state testing. If you are considering this option, please contact the school office for more information about the process and to discuss any questions you may have.
