COVID-19 Update - November 7, 2022

Please read the following letter from School Nurse, Sarah Adams:

Dear parents or guardians of children of the Cotopaxi School District,

We have recently become aware that staff members and children in our school district have tested positive for COVID-19. While we are unable to identify the individuals due to the confidential nature of the medical information, we can share that it has been one day since the individual was last in attendance.

What this means for you and your child:
Stay home and contact your health care provider if your child is sick or if you become sick. We
encourage you to wash your hands, and monitor symptoms. If at any time, you or your child begin to develop symptoms of COVID-19 (such as cough, shortness of breath, fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell), please keep your child home from school and call your healthcare provider for next steps.

You may call me at 719-942-4131 ext. 138 if you have questions or concerns. Thank you for your support in these efforts and your patience, flexibility, and understanding as we work together to promote the health and well-being of our community.

Thank you again,
